BALTIMORE -- Authorities have apprehended a woman who police said robbed several banks in Baltimore County and city over the past few weeks.
Darion Jeanina Randle, 27, was caught at about 11 a.m. Saturday after Baltimore police said she robbed the Madison Bank on Harford Road in Hamilton.

Police said Randle handed the teller a note and was given money, but as she tried to flee, the teller was able to hit the panic button, which locked all the doors of the bank's
Access Control Vestibule. Randle was arrested by police a short time later.
The FBI, who was called in to help search for Randle, said it believes she's responsible for seven bank robberies in the area in the last few weeks. Randle will face state robbery charges in several of the holdups but could also face federal charges.
She is currently being held at the Baltimore City Detention Center on $500,000 bail.
